Fight League: New NFT Fighting Game on Ronin Network Platform

The Fight League integration will usher in a new era for IP-based NFT arcade gaming on Ronin Network.

In February 2024, Sky Mavis, the maker of the legendary NFT title Axie Infinity and blockchain Ronin Network, announced a new partnership with game studio GMonster and mobile game publisher MIXI to integrate three Fight League titles into Ronin Network.

I. What is Fight League?

Fight League is an ecosystem of three games developed by GMonsters studio. Of which, Fight League Survivor is the first game integrated on Ronin Network. This is an Adventure RPG game with familiar gameplay like famous traditional games: Street Fighter.

II. Fight League Highlights

1. IP Development for Fight League NFT Set

The GMonsters team aims to integrate the Fight League IP into three games that are slated to appear on the Ronin Network. Currently, Fight League Survivor is actively in development to achieve this goal.

This is also part of Ronin's strategy, to integrate IP from popular Web2 titles like Kaidro Chronicle and RAGNAROK.

2. Developed by 2 famous game studios

MIXI, known for its hugely successful Monster Strike game, which has grossed over $10.5 billion and attracted 61 million players, has partnered with GMonsters to create more meaningful connections between players and games. Led by a team that has successfully created popular titles such as Crossy Road, Ski Safari, Plants vs Zombies 2 and Sonic Dash 2, GMonsters is developing a new generation of gaming experiences based on its original and recognized intellectual properties, starting with Fight League.

    3. Player-friendly gameplay

The Fight League series developed by GMonsters all have an Arcade style, a genre suitable for all ages and regardless of skill level, from children to adults.

      III. Fight League Ecosystem

Fight League is an ecosystem of 3 NFT games, including:

      1. Fight League Survivor (Beta in Q1/2024): Roguelike genre games give players diverse experiences through many game modes.

      2. Fight League Medallion (Coming Soon): Free-form, synchronous, turn-based, PVP digital card game.

      3. Fight League Missions (Coming Soon): ARPG game. Players control their warriors to complete missions and collect rewards.

In Q1/2024, GMonsters will release a Beta Test for the arcade survival game “Fight League Survivor” on Ronin Network. This game combines survival elements with fast and continuous gameplay.

      IV. Gameplay of Fight League

In Fight League Survivor, players start each round with a controllable avatar character in a large, closed arena. The player's goal is to fight off a team of monsters within 15 minutes and survive until the end of the match.

At the beginning of each round, a number of enemies will try to reduce the HP of the player's avatar. The avatar will automatically attack them with skills that the player can upgrade throughout the round. By the end of the round, the player will have to face a huge horde of monsters and at least one boss! Players need to collect gems to increase their progress bar and upgrade their skills throughout the match. This will improve their attack and defense, helping the player win the game.

      V. Fight League game NFT

The hero characters are expected to be released as Fight League NFTs.

Although the Fight League game NFT collection has not been launched yet, GMonster has been exploring and testing on-chain features, focusing on the interaction between elements in the Fight League universe, and turning Warriors and Chips into NFTs.

Warriors, the characters that players control, along with Chips, which equip Warriors to enhance their power and create deeper tactics, are central to the Fight League game ecosystem.

Fight League is a gaming ecosystem created by GMonsters studio. This studio has a close partnership with MIXI, the famous developer of the hit game Monster Strike. This product has helped MIXI earn more than 10.5 billion USD and attract 61 million players worldwide.
